Palghar, Apr 15 (PTI) A 52-year-old man has been arrested from Virar in Maharashtra's Palghar district for allegedly sodomising a minor son of his neighbour, police said Monday.

The alleged incident occurred on April 13 when the accused Suhas Tambe forcibly took the boy to his residence when his parents were away, an official said.

A case was registered after the parents of the boy lodged a complaint.

Tambe has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the official said.
