Digital entertainment company Pocket Aces on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 100 crore from Sequoia India, DSP Group, 3one4 Capital, and other in its fresh round of fund raising.

Mumbai, Jul 30 (PTI) Digital entertainment company Pocket Aces on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 100 crore from Sequoia India, DSP Group, 3one4 Capital, and other in its fresh round of fund raising.

The company will utilise the fresh capital to invest in content, technology and talent and will multiply its social distribution by starting three new content channels in the next twelve months.

It aims to hit a run-rate of 1 billion monthly video views on original content by 2020. ********* Solar Industries posts Rs 73.83 cr net profit in Q1

*Solar Industries on Tuesday reported a flattish growth in the quarter ended June 30 at Rs 73.83 crore as against Rs 72.92 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its total revenues for the quarter increased Rs 620.03 crore in April-June quarter from Rs 614.72 crore in Q1 FY2019.

"The revenues were impacted due to loss of Rs 35.5 crore in overseas due to currency depreciation and economic slowdown in the global market mainly due to the trade war," the company said in a statement issued here. ************** Dubai International Financial Centre signs MoU with Maha govt

*Gateway Rail Freight, a subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks, on Tuesday said it has started its inland container depot (ICD) operations at Viramgam near Ahmedabad in Gujarat.

Currently, Gateway Rail operates 30 BLC class trains to provide a daily service between these ICDs and the western ports of Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Pipavav and also offers optional road transport service from these ICDs to provide an integrated intermodal solution for the international trade in NCR and Punjab. ***************** Vibrant Goa-Global Expo to be held between Oct 17-19
