Jalna, Jun 24 (PTI) Police seized 2,274 brass of illegally mined sand worth Rs 68 lakh from Keligavan village in Maharashtra's Jalna district, police said Monday.

Keshav Madan and his son Amol have been arrested for mining sand illegally at a reservoir in Rajewadi, an official said.

A brass of sand equals 100 cubic feet in volume. PTI
