Washington, Mar 21 (PTI) US President Donald Trump has said he would not mind if Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 US elections is made public.

The investigation into the allegations of collusion between Russia and Trump's presidential campaign, which he vehemently denies, is expected to end soon.

Trump has maintained that he has done no wrong and there was no collusion between him, his campaign and the Russians.

"Let it come out. Let people see it," the president said Wednesday, adding that it was, however, on the attorney general to decide if the report should be made public.

Trump questioned how Mueller, a man "out of the blue" who "never got a vote", can be investigating him, given his victory in the 2016 election.

"I'm saying to myself, wait a minute, I just won one of the greatest elections of all time in the history of this country -- and even you will admit that -- and now I have somebody writing a report that never got a vote. It's called the Mueller report. So explain that, because my voters don't get it. And I don't get it," the president said.

"I think it's ridiculous. But I want to see the report," he added.

Questioning the grounds of the investigation, the president said, "There was no collusion. There was no obstruction. But it's sort of an amazing thing that when you have a great victory, somebody comes and does a report out of nowhere."
