Two Drown After Motorcycle Falls into Drain in Nagpur
Two men were killed on Saturday after their motorcycle fell into a drain in Gittikhadan area of Nagpur, police said.
Nagpur, Dec 29 (PTI) Two men were killed on Saturday after their motorcycle fell into a drain in Gittikhadan area of Nagpur, police said.
Rajat Moharkar (25) and Akshay Dukre (23), residents of Rana Pratap Nagar area here, were going towards Vayu Sena Gate from Bhivankhori at around 9:30pm when the two-wheeler fell into the drain while navigating a 10-feet road running parallel to it.
"Passersby alerted police after they spotted the motorcycle and the two men in the drain. They were brought out and taken to hospital where they were declared dead on arrival. An accidental death case has been registered," he said.
