Hyundai India has finally launched the new Grand i10 Nios hatchback in India. The hatchback gets a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (Ex-showroom India). It is important to note that these prices are introductory.

The premium interiors of the Nios is highlighted by High glossy black inserts, honeycomb design pattern with Satin Silver Finish, Modern & upmarket seat pattern.

The bold and stylish design of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is underlined by the cascading grille upfront, projector headlamps, sloping roofline, 15-inch alloy wheels and more.

Hyundai claims that Nios is based on 5 key pillars - Bold & Stylish Design, Premium & Spacious Cabin, Smart & Innovative Technology and Complete Peace of Mind.

The South Korean car maker is targeting customers in the age group of 25 to 35 years, which includes modern young enthusiasts.

Mr. Amit Dhaundiyal further says Nios means 'More' in Irish. As the name suggest, Hyundai claims Grand i10 Nios means more style, more premium, more space, more technology, more safety, more economy and more assurance.

The South Korean car manufacturer will be launching the new Grand i10 Nios hatcback in the Indian market market today. The launch event is scheduled to commence at 12PM IST onwards, which will be hosted by the automaker in New Delhi. The upcoming Grand i10 Nios will be a new generation model, which will go on sale alongside the predecessor. Ahead of its official launch, the hatchback has been spied many times while testing on the Indian roads. Moreover, the car has been captured at the stockyard confirming that the car maker has started dispatching the vehicles to the dealerships. Hyundai India has already started taking pre-bookings for the new Grand i10 with upfront payment of Rs 11,000 across all company dealerships.

The new Hyundai Grand i10 will be offered in 6 exciting shades - Fiery Red, Polar White, Alpha Blue, Aqua teal, Titan Grey and Typhoon Silver. The new offering from Hyundai will be made available in 4 trim options - Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. Coming to interior, the car will sport black and white dual tone shade which will be underlined by 8-inch infotainment system, automatic climate control, wireless charging, new steering wheel with mounted controls, twin pod instrument panel, rear AC vents and much more. Under the hood, the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be offered in petrol as well as diesel guises. The petrol engine will be a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol mill whereas the diesel unit will be 1.2-litre CRDi unit. It is important to note that the same powertrain options are offered on the current generation Grand i10. However, it is not yet clear if these units will be offered with the same power output. Transmission duties will be carried out by a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard along with an optional AMT unit.
