Mahindra is preparing to unveil its highly anticipated Scorpio N-based lifestyle pickup truck during its scheduled event on Independence Day, August 14. Derived from the 2023 Global Pik Up concept, the production model combines rugged utility architecture with an upscale passenger cabin to target recreational and commercial buyers alike.

Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup Exterior Design

The upcoming utility vehicle shares its core ladder-frame underpinnings with the standard Scorpio N SUV, though it features a heavily redesigned front and rear profile. As per a report by NDTV, the exterior incorporates L-shaped LED daytime-running lights, revised LED headlamps, and a honeycomb-pattern front grille. Built on a double-cab layout, the truck features an extended wheelbase and a larger rear load bed finished with C-shaped LED tail-lamps and prominent embossed lettering on the tailgate.

Cabin Layout and Advanced Technology

Inside, the cabin draws inspiration from modern prototype designs, featuring a large portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, and rugged rotary controls for the dual-zone climate system. Expected creature comforts and safety additions include Level 2 automated driving assistance systems, 5G-enabled connected-car technology, semi-automatic parking features, and a spacious sunroof layout tailored for lifestyle users.

Engine Options and Expected Market Positioning

Under the bonnet, the pickup is anticipated to house the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engines paired with six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes. Four-wheel-drive variants will likely include multiple terrain modes such as Normal, Mud-Rut, and Snow configurations. Positioned above the utilitarian Bolero Camper, the new model is projected to carry an ex-showroom price bracket ranging between 1.6 million INR and 2.6 million INR, placing it in direct competition with established lifestyle offerings like the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross.
