Norton Atlas Adventure Bike India Launch Expected by Festive Season 2026
Norton is set to launch the Atlas and Atlas GT adventure motorcycles in India by late 2026. Manufactured at TVS Motor Company's Hosur plant, the 585cc parallel-twin models feature fully adjustable KYB suspension, an 8-inch TFT display, and cornering cruise control, targeting the premium ADV market.
Norton is preparing to expand its footprint in the Indian market with the upcoming launch of its middleweight adventure motorcycle, the Atlas. Following its world premiere at EICMA 2025 and the commencement of series production at TVS Motor Company’s Hosur facility in June 2026, the brand has recently concluded global media evaluations for the new range.
The upcoming lineup, which includes the off-road-focused Atlas and the road-biased Atlas GT, showcases Norton’s modern design language. As per a report by BikeAdvice, the motorcycles introduce several upgrade features and specifications designed to compete directly in the premium adventure segment, balancing long-distance touring comfort with high-performance capabilities. Norton Atlas Specifications and Features
Both the Norton Atlas and Atlas GT are built on a lightweight steel trellis chassis and are powered by a 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, delivering 69 bhp at 9,300 rpm and 57.5 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The adventure-oriented Atlas features a 19-inch front wheel, a longer wheelbase, and increased ground clearance, whereas the Atlas GT adopts a road-focused stance with 17-inch wheels at both ends and a shorter-travel suspension configuration.
Both models are equipped with fully adjustable KYB suspension, cornering cruise control, five configurable rider modes, and an 8-inch TFT display with connectivity via the Norton Rider app. The duo will be available through the TVS Paddock network of premium dealerships. tea
