Following the success of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar and T-Series have officially begun developing ideas for a fourth instalment. Lead actor Kartik Aaryan is set to return as the popular character Rooh Baba and is actively collaborating on the script's core direction. Anees Bazmee to Helm ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’?

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, producer Bhushan Kumar is keen on expanding Bhool Bhulaiyaa into one of India’s flagship cinematic franchises. Creative teams are actively brainstorming concepts for the next story arc, with Kartik Aaryan closely involved in shaping the narrative.

Director Anees Bazmee, who previously directed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is in advanced discussions to direct the fourth part. Source reports indicate that financial terms and scheduling details are currently being finalised to finalise his return.

If negotiations conclude smoothly, filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is expected to begin in the second half of 2027.

Focus on Akshay Kumar Collaboration '

Before shifting his focus to the creative development of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4, Anees Bazmee will wrap up his current untitled family comedy starring Akshay Kumar.
