The reports claim the conversation involved a person identifying as the actress requesting a financial transaction from a student in exchange for a nude video call. According to the alleged leaked images, the individual behind the account initially quoted a price of INR 20,000. The amount was reportedly lowered to INR 8,000 after the other party asserted, they were a student. On Monday, she issued a formal statement via Facebook, asserting that her account had been hacked and misused by an unidentified individual over the last two months. In her statement, Saxena characterised the incident as a severe case of alleged identity theft and defamation. The actress confirmed that her legal team has already moved to identify those responsible for the alleged misuse of her digital identity. "Be advised that this act constitutes a serious offense under cyber laws, including identity theft, impersonation, and defamation," Saxena stated. She further warned that anyone found "engaging, encouraging or spreading such false communication" would be held legally accountable.
