Rapper Cardi B and Nicki Minaj recently got involved in a physical brawl during the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party at New York Fashion Week on Friday at the Plaza Hotel. Cardi, 25, allegedly lunged towards Nicki, 35 but was stopped by security. She then removed her shoe and hurled it towards Nicki, but apparently missed it as reported by TMZ. Cardi was then escorted out by the event security. The altercation was reportedly spurned by comments about Cardi’s daughter, Kulture. In one of the several videos posted on Twitter, Cardi B is seen trying to attack Nicki but is stopped by the security. She then attempts to throw her shoe at Nicki, but the security teams rush to break it up. Cardi was escorted from the party and was photographed with a large bruise on her right eye, bare foot and with a torn dress from the back. An insider told People that the ‘altercation’ occurred on the second-floor balcony during a Christina Aguilera performance. The insider continued saying, “The scene was crazy. Shortly after leaving the event injured, the rapper posted on Instagram to address the scuffle without addressing Nicki directly. Cardi wrote: “I’ve let a lot of s**t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat!....But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f*** off!”

An NYPD public information officer confirmed to People that no arrests have been made and that the ‘incident itself has ended, the investigation is still ongoing.' Cardi and Nicki’s fight comes just few months after the rappers had made up at the Met Gala in May. Cardi welcomed her first child, daughter Kulture Kiari with her husband Offset.
