While Suriya was addressing the audience on stage, Venky Atluri approached the actor and playfully asked him to look upward. As Suriya glanced up, Atluri bent down to touch his feet as a mark of respect, momentarily catching the actor off guard. Suriya quickly reacted with a smile and playfully moved toward the director to embrace him.

The director revealed that he originally pitched a biopic to Suriya, which the actor was enthusiastic about. However, due to rights issues, the biopic could not proceed. Atluri then presented an alternative premise focused on a family drama, which Suriya immediately accepted, having wanted to return to a lighter, romantic family entertainer after years of intense action roles.
