Armaan Kohli and Neeru Randhawa have been in the news ever since she filed a police case against him after he beat her up. Neeru was admitted to the hospital and even had to undergo surgery while Armaan went missing for a couple of days. However, the ex-Bigg Boss contestant was arrested and even rejected bail. But Neeru decided to withdrew the police complaint against her abusive ex-boyfriend Armaan after mutual friends and family convinced her to go for an out-of-court settlement. While speaking to DNA, Neeru revealed why she decided to withdraw the case and what's next for her.

The budding fashion designer and stylist has reportedly been paid Rs. 1 crore as settlement from Armaan for trauma and other damage. Neeru told the portal, "If it was about the money, then I would have let the case go on for some years. But I wanted to move on." Praising the police officials for helping her out, she said, "In future, if he raises his hand on any woman, she can take him to court and have him put in jail. He has been warned that he won’t get any favours from the court if he misbehaves with any woman."

Here's why she decided to retract her complaint, "It was heartbreaking to see his father, who is 90, stand in court for his son’s wrong-doings at this age. It was stressful to know if he doesn’t get out, there was no one to take care of them (Armaan’s parents). Considering these factors, I decided to withdraw my case." Neeru has already been given the settlement amount and Armaan has been additionally asked to donate Rs. 1 lakh each to Memorial Centre’s children treatment centre and The National Association of the Blind.
