To download it, applicants must enter their application number and date of birth. The final admit card will be issued later.
New Delhi, January 23: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) officially released the city intimation slips for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 on Friday, January 23. This "pre-admit card" allows candidates to view their allotted examination city ahead of the main exam scheduled for February 8. By providing this information early, the board aims to assist thousands of teaching aspirants in making necessary travel and accommodation arrangements.
The city intimation slip serves as a preliminary document rather than a final hall ticket. It contains the candidate's name, application number, and the specific city where their test centre will be located. However, it does not include the exact venue address or shift timings; these critical details will be reserved for the official admit cards, which are expected to be released approximately two to three days before the exam date. Important Reminders
Candidates are advised to verify that the details on the city slip match their application form. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the final admit card (to be released later) along with a valid photo ID to the examination hall, as the city slip alone will not grant entry.
