The board examinations were held between February 18 and March 12, 2026, across nearly 8,000 centres in Uttar Pradesh. These included government schools, government-aided institutions, and self-financed secondary schools.
The large scale of the examination process reflects UPMSP’s position as one of the biggest school education boards in the country.
Passing Criteria and Next Steps
Students are required to secure a minimum of 33% marks to pass the examinations. Those who do not meet the criteria will be eligible to appear for compartment exams.
The provisional mark sheets available online can be used for immediate reference, while original documents will be distributed later through respective schools.
UP Board examinations are among the largest in India in terms of student participation. In recent years, the board has expanded digital access to results, helping reduce congestion and delays during result announcements.
The 2026 results continue this trend, with multiple platforms enabled to ensure students can access their scores efficiently.
