West Bengal's BJP government has invited suggestions and feedback from state government employees and pensioners as part of the ongoing process to implement the Seventh Pay Commission. The commission, recently constituted by the BJP government, has invited proposals from government employees' organisations as well as individual employees regarding matters related to pay, allowances, promotions, pension and retirement benefits. A dedicated website has been launched for this purpose, through which serving and retired West Bengal state government employees, along with their organisations, can submit their suggestions and proposals.

Last Date To Submit Suggestions Is October 31
The commission has clarified that suggestions and memorandums will be accepted only through the dedicated website. The deadline for submissions has been set as October 31. 7th Pay Commission Formation Completed On July 22
Notably, the West Bengal government completed the process of constituting the Seventh Pay Commission on July 22. The commission has been tasked with giving recommendations on changes related to pay, allowances, promotions and pension for employees and pensioners of the state government as well as government aided organisations.
