New Delhi, November 1: German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is on a two-day visit to India, remained seated while national anthems of India and Germany were played on Friday. Earlier this year in June, Merkel suffered a new trembling spell for the third time in less than a month. She began shaking involuntarily as national anthems were being played at the reception of Finnish Prime Minister Antti Rinne.

Merkel in her visit to India will hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on further expanding overall bilateral ties.
