Two women were rescued during the law enforcement operation. The crackdown follows specific intelligence gathered by law enforcement regarding illegal flesh trade activities operating within the city limits.

Police Trap and Operation Details

According to the Thane Police, senior police inspector Anjali Aandhle received specific information regarding the accused actress's alleged involvement in running a s*x racket, reports Moneycontrol. The accused was intercepted at approximately 3:00 PM while she was allegedly attempting to push two women into prostitution. Police took the actress into custody on the spot and safely rescued the two victims, who were subsequently placed in a protective shelter.

Investigators revealed that the accused has worked in multiple Bhojpuri and Hindi films, alongside appearances in more than 10 web series across various digital streaming platforms. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against the actress at the Srinagar Police Station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and provisions of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Authorities stated that the investigation remains ongoing to uncover potential wider networks connected to the operation.
