A 13-year-old girl from Ethiopia, who was travelling to Hyderabad for cancer treatment, died onboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight before it landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, police said on Saturday, June 27. The teenager had reportedly been battling cancer for the past three years and died while the aircraft was airborne.

The flight landed at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at around 1 am on Saturday. Girl Was Travelling for Medical Treatment

According to police, the teenager had travelled from Ethiopia to Hyderabad to undergo cancer treatment. Officials said she had been suffering from cancer for the last three years. After the Ethiopian Airlines flight landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, the girl was taken to the airport's health facility for medical examination.
