What Happened

The accused, identified as teacher Kajal, allegedly struck 4-year-old Anmol, an LKG student at Mother Pride International School, in the eye with a pencil during a classroom session. The boy's father, Manoj Kumar, a resident of Shriram Colony, said the injury caused bleeding and did not improve despite initial treatment in Firozabad. Elder Brother Also Assaulted

On returning from Delhi on July 14, the family learned that their elder son, 8-year-old Aryan, a Class 4 student at the same school, had also been beaten. The family has alleged that another teacher, Yogendri, assaulted the boy, causing a severe ear injury that led to bleeding. School Allegedly Denied Incident, CCTV Footage 'Deleted'

According to the complainants, when the parents approached the school with their concerns, the director denied that any such incident had occurred. When CCTV footage was requested, the family was told it had already been deleted. The parents have further alleged that the director behaved rudely and threatened them when they protested.

The children's mother, Babli, said the teacher's assault severely injured her younger son's right eye, while the elder son was beaten so badly that his ear began bleeding. She added that the school never informed the family about the incidents, and they only learned the full details after the children returned home.

Police Launch Probe

FIR Registered After Weeks of Delay

The family said that when they first approached the North Police Station on July 15, their complaint was not registered. After repeated visits to the police station over several days, they escalated the matter to the SSP on July 25. Following this, an FIR was registered on July 26 against the school director, manager Vishwanath Sharma, and teachers Kajal and Yogendri.

Officials Visit School, Investigation Underway

On the district magistrate's orders, SDM Ankit Verma and the BSA visited the school on Friday to examine the matter. City CO Santosh Kumar Singh said medical reports of both children have been sought, and further legal action will be taken based on the facts and evidence that emerge during the investigation.
