According to police, the teenager alleged that her grandfather s*xually assaulted her repeatedly for around three months, resulting in her pregnancy. The minor, whose mother has died, lives with her father and grandfather.
The teenager alleged that her grandfather would s*xually assault her when her father left home for work.

In her complaint, the teenager stated that she had returned to Sikandra Rao from her maternal uncle's house around three to four months ago. She alleged that on June 20, her grandfather, identified as Nizamuddin, s*xually assaulted her for the first time and continued to assault her repeatedly thereafter. Circle Officer Amit Pathak said the teenager was sent to the district hospital for a medical examination, which confirmed her pregnancy.
Nizamuddin was arrested on Saturday, Pathak said.
