Jaipur: Man Kills Wife, 3 Daughters by Smashing Their Heads With Brick
A 35-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife and three young daughters by crushing their heads with a heavy stone or cement block at their home in Jaipur’s Kardhani area early Friday morning. The suspect, identified as Rahul Jha.
A 40-year-old woman and her three daughters were allegedly killed by the woman's husband at their home in Jaipur on Friday, police said. The accused, identified as Rahul Jha, allegedly attacked the four while they were asleep and fled from the scene. Police have launched a search operation to trace him, NDTV reported.
Four Family Members Found Dead
The victims have been identified as Geeta Jha and her three daughters, Nandini, Girisha and Radhika. The daughters were aged between 17 and 23, according to police. Police said the accused allegedly repeatedly struck their heads with a brick while they were asleep at their home in the Govindpura area of Jaipur. Murders Discovered After No Activity at House
The incident came to light at around 10 am on Friday after neighbours and relatives became suspicious when they noticed no activity at the house. The accused's 85-year-old father was present at the residence when police arrived. A large crowd later gathered outside the house as news of the killings spread.
Family Dispute Suspected as Possible Motive
Police suspect that a family dispute may have led to the alleged killings, although the exact motive has not yet been established. Police Launch Search for Accused
Forensic Science Laboratory teams and a dog squad were called to the crime scene. Police collected blood samples and other forensic evidence, while the brick allegedly used in the attack was also taken for examination. Special police teams have been formed to arrest Rahul Jha. Police have intensified checks at entry and exit points and are conducting raids at locations where he may be hiding. The investigation is ongoing.
