According to police reports, Vaishak was staying alone at Thapanda's apartment on Wednesday night while the actress was away. The subsequent police investigation revealed that Vaishak had allegedly drafted the threatening message and utilized a local garage worker to dispatch it via a Blue Dart courier outlet near Banashankari. Investigators established that the deliberate routing of the package through different locations was an attempt to mislead the tracking process. Following the detention and questioning of the garage worker, police confirmed Vaishak's involvement and subsequently took him into custody.
