Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee and five party Members of Parliament were detained by the Delhi Police and central security forces on Saturday, October 10, outside her official residence in South Avenue. The party stated that the delegation was placed inside a security prisoner van and driven toward an undisclosed location amid a capital-wide security crackdown surrounding planned political demonstrations by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).

Allegations of Transport to Undisclosed Location

Following the preventative action outside Banerjee’s Delhi residence, party members voiced strong criticism of the security forces' procedures, alleging they were being kept in transit without clear destination details. Neha Bora, Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan Detained During March Towards Dilli Haat INA (Video).
