Cyber Team Investigating Origin of Emails

The police cyber team is conducting a technical investigation to trace the source of the emails and identify those responsible. Authorities have not publicly confirmed who sent the messages or whether the threats were part of a coordinated attempt to disrupt school activities. The investigation is continuing, and police have urged residents not to spread unverified information.

Schools Had Received Similar Threats Earlier

The latest incident comes less than a week after reports of bomb threat emails to five Noida schools on October 6, which also prompted security checks.

In February, at least 18 schools in Noida reportedly received similar threats during the CBSE board examination period. Police conducted searches, while cybercrime investigators worked to establish the origin of the messages.

A separate bomb threat email sent to the Greater Noida collectorate in July also triggered a security sweep, with no explosives or suspicious material reported in the available coverage.

Police Urge Public Not to Spread Rumours

Authorities said they were treating Monday's threats seriously and continuing precautionary measures to ensure the safety of students and school staff. Police have appealed to the public to rely on official updates and avoid spreading rumours while the investigation remains underway. No arrests or identification of suspects had been announced in the latest available reports.
