Udaipur, December 8: In a shocking case of negligence, Two Election commission officials have been suspended after a ballot unit was found lying on the road in Shahabad area of Kishanganj Assembly Constituency in Baran district of Rajasthan on Friday. Two officials, Abdul Rafeek and Naval Singh Patwari, have been suspended on grounds of negligence, according to news agency ANI. Later, the ballot unit was kept in a strong room in Kishanganj. Meanwhile, voting for 199 constituencies of 200 constituencies took place on Friday with a voter turnout of 72.7 percent. Voting in Ramgarh constituency has been postponed due to the death of BSP candidate Laxman Singh.
