However, the medical report from DDU District Hospital did not mention a burn injury, he said, and police are investigating the matter further.
What The Child's Father Alleged
In his complaint, the child's father stated that his son studies in a nursery at Serene Soni Play School in the Akatha area under the Lalpur-Pandeypur police station. He said the child complained of pain in his private part after returning home from school. When his mother checked, she noticed a blister, and when she asked her son about it, he named Preeti Kushwaha as the teacher who had allegedly branded him with a hot knife after he urinated in his pants. Child Was Allegedly Denied Permission To Use The Toilet
According to the father's complaint, the child had initially sought permission to go to the toilet, but the teachers did not allow him, following which he urinated in his pants. He further alleged that when his wife raised the matter with principal Hemlata Singh, she was met not with action against Kushwaha but with threats instead. Police Investigation Underway
An FIR has been registered against teacher Preeti Kushwaha, principal Hemlata Singh and the school management over the alleged assault. Police said the medical examination conducted at DDU District Hospital did not find evidence of a burn injury, and investigations into the incident are continuing.
