New Delhi, November 9: Polling for three phases of the 243-member Bihar assembly polls 2020 concluded on November 7 with the counting of votes and results on November 10. All eyes are on the result day as to who will be on throne in Bihar. With polling having been concluded for all 243 seats, the focus now shifts to the Bihar election result on November 10. Bihar Elections 2020: What Time Will Counting Begin? 

As the voting for all the three phases in Bihar concluded, most pollsters are predicting a landslide for the five-party Grand Alliance led by the young RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. On the counting day, the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be opened at 8 in the morning and the process of counting votes will begin.

When Will First Trends And Final Results be Out?

The first trends will emerge around 8:30 am on November 10 after counting of postal ballots by which servicemen and other outstanding security personnel cast their vote. As counting will start at sharp 8 am, the trends will emerge within the first half hour, i.e. around 8.30 am. The Final Results will be out by the end of the day.

The voting for the first phase was held on October 28 that covered 71 assembly constituencies, the second-phase voting was held on November 3 that covered 94 seats while the third phase of voting on November 7 covered 78 assembly seats. The provisional voter turnout in the third phase was 57.92 percent, in the second phase it was 55.70 percent, while in the first phase, the voter turnout was 55.68 percent.

Bihar has 243 assembly constituencies and the most keenly watched will obviously be Raghopur in Vaishali district from where Tejashwi Yadav is seeking re-election. Kumar is a member of the legislative council and has not contested the assembly election. Raghopur has been in the past represented by his parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi both former chief ministers.
