Helmed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, Badhaai Do is written by Suman Adhikary and Akshat Ghildial, who had co-written Badhaai Ho. In the film, Rao plays the role of a cop whereas Pednekar will be seen as a PT teacher.
The trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar's family drama Badhaai Do is all set to release ahead of Republic Day 2022, which is on January 25. The actress shared a new poster and announced the news via Instagram. The movie is directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni.
