Recently it was reported that Neil Blomkamp was set to direct a film based on Gran Turismo, the hit PlayStation videogame. Now it has been confirmed that he will indeed be directing it. The film has also received a release date of August 11, 2023. This isn't the only PlayStation adaptation in development.
