Oscars 2022 Nominations: Spider-Man No Way Home, Shang-Chi, Dune, Free Guy, No Time to Die are Nominees for Best VFX at 94th Academy Awards
The nominations were announced on February 8, 2022 by actors Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan. This is the first time two MCU movies are nominated for the same category.
This year's Oscars gave spots to Marvel movies Spider-Man: No Way Home, Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings, 20th Century's Free Guy, Warner Bros' Dune, and Universal Pictures' No Time to Die, for Best VFX. Oscars 2022 Nominations: Dune, Belfast, The Power of the Dog, Drive My Car Lead the Nominees for 94th Academy Awards.
