The first trailer for Payal Kapadia's Canne's selected All We Imagine As Light has arrived. The story, set in Mumbai, follows the life of two nurses and roommates who head off on a trip to a beach town to conquer their desires. The film's cast features Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. Prabha gets a surprise package from her estranged husband, which makes her quite uneasy. In the meantime, her roommate Anu is head over heels in love with her boyfriend. They both decide to escape to a coastal town, where they embark on a new journey in their relationship. The trailer concludes with a beautiful quote in the narration: "You might think you know someone, but they can also be strangers."
