Reacting to it, the "Kehna Hi Kya" singer expressed her outrage and called the incident "much worse than the Nirbhaya incident" that took place in Delhi. Taking to her X (previously Twitter) handle, she penned, "I am shocked to watch the news about the assault & murder of a lady doctor inside RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata& subsequent efforts to destroy evidence etc. Every Indian should hide their face in shame. This horrible crime is much worse than the Nirbhaya incident in Delhi a few years ago. I humbly request our hon. PM to directly monitor the investigations & bring everyone involved to justice.
