Comedian Munawar Faruqui, winner of 'Bigg Boss 17', has apologised for a controversial joke targeting the Konkani community during a recent stand-up show.
Comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui recently found himself at the centre of a storm following a derogatory joke aimed at the Konkani community during a Taloja performance. In the viral clip, he could be heard saying, “Konkani Log Chu**** Banate Hai,” which translates to “Konkanis fool others.” Faced with mounting criticism, Faruqui has now issued a public apology, expressing deep regret for hurting anyone's feelings.
