Actress Rupali Ganguly, known for her role in the popular TV show Anupamaa, shared her concerns regarding the situation of Hindus amidst the chaotic situation in Bangladesh. Bangladesh is currently facing severe turmoil amid the violent protests, killing many and forcing their PM, Sheikh Hasina, to flee the country. Violent mobs have attacked several Hindu temples and business establishments. Very few celebs have reacted to this. Among them is Rupali Ganguly, who took to her X (previously Twitter) handle requesting everyone to raise their voice on the ongoing situation. She wrote, "The stories of persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh have left me in a state of anguish. Having my father’s roots in present day Bangladesh, it scares me to think of the constant atrocities and violence the minorities are being subjected to. This is time for every human being throughout the world to stand up and raise our voice for protection of the helpless and vulnerable minorities in Bangladesh."
