Haridwar: Kanwariyas Vandalise Car, Assault Family After Minor Accident in Uttarakhand; 3 Arrested After Video Goes Viral

Tension broke out in Haridwar’s Bahadrabad area after a car allegedly brushed past a Kanwar, leading to vandalism and assault by angry Kanwariyas. The group attacked the vehicle with sticks, severely damaging it, and assaulted its passengers. Police rescued the injured car occupants, including Mukesh from Shamli, and rushed them to Roorkee Civil Hospital. FIR has been lodged, and three accused from Gangoh, Saharanpur have been taken into custody. Efforts are underway to send them to jail. Bahadrabad and Shantarshah police teams controlled the situation. Chowki In-charge Khemendra Gangwar confirmed the attack involved intent to kill.
