Union Minister and BJP candidate from Amethi, Smriti Irani filed her nomination papers for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 today, on Monday, April 29, 2024. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present with her during the nomination. Irani made headlines in Amethi Lok Sabha Polls 2019, after defeating former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi. The Amethi Lok Sabha seat is scheduled to undergo polling in the fifth phase of voting on May 20. Meanwhile, Congress is yet to announce its candidate from Amethi.
