The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'yellow' alert for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar for September 28. Predicting moderate rainfall and thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds. "Generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall and thundershowers likely towards evening and night in city and suburbs today," the IMD said on Thursday about Mumbai.
