Activist Akhil Gogoi who is currently in jail will contest the Assam Assembly Elections 2021 from Sibsagar constituency. Gogoi will contest the state legislative polls from Raijor Dal's ticket. The upcoming Assam Assembly Elections will be conducted in three phases from March 27 to April 6 and the results will be out on May 2.
