A fake notification about recruitment of constables in Railway Protection Force or RPF and Indian Railways has been going viral on social media. The fake notification, titled RPF Constable Bharti 2023, said that RPF and Indian Railways are recruiting people for 9,000 constable posts. Since the fake notification was widely circulated, the Ministry of Railways on Friday issued a clarification and said no such recruitment drive was being undertaken.
