UK Man Slapped With Astronomical Fine of Rs. 2 Lakh For Removing Face Mask For 16 Seconds Inside a Shop
A man from Wallasey, United Kingdom was asked to pay a fine of ÂŖ2,000 i.e 2 Lakh rupees after taking his mask off inside a shop for something like 16 seconds. The incident occurred in February last year but recently he received a letter from the ACRO Criminal Record office for the increased fine.

A man identified as Christopher O'Toole from Wallasey was fined an eye-watering fine of Rs. 2 lakh after taking his mask off inside a shop for mere 16 seconds. As per the reports Christopher was shopping at B&M in Prescot wearing a mask but he took it off just briefly for a few seconds after he began feeling unwell. Now the man has to appear in court over the case of fine.
