St Lucia Kings batted first and posted a mammoth 205/4 in their 20 overs with Mark Deyal scoring a 78-run knock and Tim Davids hitting 38 unbeaten runs. In response, Trinbago Knight Riders fought hard but David Wiese's five-wicket haul pegged back the champions as they fell 21 runs short of the target. St Lucia thus got revenge for their final loss to Trinbago last year.
