The right-hander was in good form against India in the T20 World Cup where he scored 60 runs off just 27 balls to give his side a good start in a rain-truncated run-chase. He will become Bangladesh's 15th captain in ODIs.

Litton Das has been named captain of the Bangladesh team for their upcoming ODI series against India. This comes after Tamim Iqbal, who was supposed to lead the side, got ruled out due to an injury. With this, the right-hander will become the 15th ODI captain for Bangladesh.
