Playing the first T20I of a five-match series against Bangladesh at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, the Indian Womenâs Cricket team opted to bat first. After losing opener Smriti Mandhana early in the inning, Shefali Verma and wicketkeeper Yashtika Bhatia steadied the run flow for India. Shefali departed on 31 runs while Bhatia topped the Indian batters with 36 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur also added 30 runs to help reach India 145 runs in 20 overs.
