Naseem Shah recalled his mother and dedicated his efforts to her after leading Pakistan to a thrilling victory over Afghanistan in the 2nd ODI of the series on Thursday, August 24. The Pakistan fast bowler struck a boundary off the last ball of the match to help the Green Shirts attain an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Taking to Instagram, Shah shared an emotional story which is a graphically created picture of him celebrating Pakistan's victory while his late mother stood at a distance and lauded his effort, saying, "Mera Shair Puttar." If one may recall, Shah had revealed the tragic passing away of his mother a day before his debut for Pakistan.
