A persistent downpour in Ahmedabad led to the match being washed out, with both teams sharing a point. As a result of the washout, Gujarat Titans were eliminated from the race to make it to the IPL 2024 playoffs, while Kolkata Knight Riders secured a spot in the top-two on the points table.
