Achanta Sharath Kamal, who has been the face of Indian Table Tennis over the last two decades, confirmed on social media that he won't be featuring in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028. He admitted that despite winning medals in Asian Games and Commonwealth Games, the Olympic medal remains a dream unfulfilled. He also looked back at his journey alongside Indian Table Tennis from 2004 to 2024. He also revealed that he is looking forward to the next few months. My Olympic campaign has come to an end, not quite as I had envisioned. Despite winning numerous medals at the Commonwealth Games & Asian Games over the years, the Olympic medal has remained an elusive dream.
