Neeraj Chopra added yet another gold medal to his trophy cabinet as he won the top prize on offer at the Paavo Nurmi Games 2024 on Tuesday, June 18. The ace javelin thrower dictated proceedings in the competition and regained the lead with what his third attempt, a throw of 85.97m. That eventually proved to be enough for Chopra to win the gold medal in Turku, Finland and gain a massive boost to his preparations for the Paris Olympics 2024. Finland's Toni Keranen finished in second place behind Chopra with a throw of 84.19m, which was his personal best.
