SummerSlam 2024: Nia Jax Defeats Bayley to Win WWE Women’s Title, Stratton Fails to Cash-In Money in the Bank Contract
The Queen of the Ring winner Nia Jax updated her status as the new WWE Women’s champion with a win over Bayley at SummerSlam 2024. Stratton tried to cash in her Money in the Bank contract but failed miserably as Jax ‘Powerbomb’ her twice before retaining the title.

Nia Jax is a force of nature and she delivered yet again in the ring when it mattered the most. A Pay-per-view ago, winning the Queen of the Ring event, Nia Jax showcased her abilities and power and with the same intensity she dominated the match against Bayley at SummerSlam 2024. Queen of the Ring caught Bayley during a suicide dive and hit a Samoan drop, it felt like an eventual win was a foregone conclusion until Bayley somehow hit a powerbomb. Meanwhile, Stratton ran down with her Money In The Bank briefcase to cash in but was knocked off the apron by Bayley. Jax used the opportunity to hit two powerbombs and Two Annialators for the pin and the win.
