Rafael Nadal' bid for for his 23rd Grand Slam title came to an end this year as he got knocked out of the US Open 2022. The Spaniard superstar fell to 4-6, 6-4, 4-6, 3-6 defeat against Frances Tiafoe in the round of 16 of the year's last major event. Had he won at the Flashing Meadows, he would have clinched three major titles in a single year.
